Anaña
Inspired by farš-e irâni (persian carpet), our collection Anaña is in a sense an homage to the uniqueness these artful creations embody. In vivid colors of red, yellow, and pink, the prints used for this collection are a direct representation of the artwork one finds in the beautiful rugs of Persia. The word Anaña means unique in Arabic. Keeping this meaning in mind, each design is thoughtfully created in our timeless and seasonless prints to make a piece that is unique and feels like a piece of art on its own. Wear them together as co-ord sets or individually with your favorite staples, the printed designs are made to spark joy with their bright colors. The collection connects to the unique within you, and hopes to encourage you to rethink, access and enjoy your own stillness within.
The 26 pieces in this collection are each inspired by words from Rumi’s beautiful writing. Made from handloom banana silk, cotton and cotton tussar, the garments range from free flowing draped skirts and pleated dresses to structured blazers and trenchcoats. Our eco conscious designs are made from azo free dyes and GOTS certified handloom home grown organic cotton with soft mul for linings. We aim to dress women from all walks of life and celebrate the years on the faces of women of all ages. Women who don Be True are women in charge of their choices and aware of their uniqueness and fiercely challenging convention while creating her own path.
